November 2009: The plot had been previousily well cultivated, but had been left fallow for at least a season.

March 2010: Plot marked into quarters with a single central bed.

April 2010 Grass & Clover Paths, rows of seeds appearing and potates .

May 2010 Hard Frost in 3rd week of May, catches potatoe leaves, uncovered courgettes and tomatoes.

June 2010 First crop of courgettes.

July 2010 Six weeks without rain turns unwatered areas into dust.

Sept 2010 Early september turns wet.
