The Parish owned allotments between the A10 and the Ely Road. The allotments cover about 5 acres of a six acre site. Despite a number of 'derelict' plots there is a waiting list. In spring 2010 the Parish council announced to a shocked meeting of allotment holders plans to move the allotment site, as part of an ongoing plan to cover the village in football pitches.
